What was the highlight of Alexandra Hotel
Wonderful
The breakfast was excellent, they constantly replenish the food and there is a lot of choice. We liked the location because the neighborhood is lively and close to the bus station and there are many amenities within the neighborhood. The bed was comfortable, and the staff brought new towels every morning. We also liked the good fan that cools the room well.
We have to say that when we first arrived, the receptionist didn't give us much information. We weren't told that we had access to the pool, or the opening hours, or when breakfast was, and we didn't know that we needed to get towels from the reception for the pool, or that we had access to the gym. We had to find out all this during our stay at the hotel by ourselves. We were also disappointed with the amenities in the bathroom, where when we booked the hotel it said that we would have shower gel and shampoo, but in the shower there was just a large transparent bottle of soap with a pump without a label. Our hand soap came in the same transparent bottle, and it was cracked.

Lovely although the seasonal aircon is not advertised or mentioned
Property was lovely. Very clean. Staff were very friendly
Aircon is seasonal!! I’ll be honest if I knew this before hand I probably wouldn’t have booked as I do like aircon.

Good hotel. I would stay again at Alexandra Hotel
Small but clean rooms. Nice personnel, very good breakfast, good, central location. Good value
Constant problems with the door alarm. Also, the receptionist told us that is a pool on the roof but he forgot to tell is no water in it :)
